misleading Advertisements - gullible people

Most people are gullible – naïve, simple and get tricked / deceived so easily especially by advertisements with Actors promising golden future.

A decade or so ago, -  people got carried by the offer of Emu Farms,  which demanded  Rs 1.5 lakh as deposits and the promised return of  Rs 6,000 per month for three years and – as a freebie,  a gold coin.

genus Dromaius’ - – the Emu. people have invested in cine-field; finance companies termed as ‘blade companies’; multi-level marketing not selling any product but asking them to enlist more people in chain; and many other similar activities. thousands of farmers got lured by private firms – and they promptly lined up, queuing up to invest in emu farms in Salem and Erode in the hope of making a quick buck, investing life savings or borrowing money to start a business.   The Emu bubble burst sooner and thousands had lost lakhs.   Not surprisingly, a Nation which spends more time on Cinema than anything else – resultantly inside Tamilnadu Paravai Muniyamma is more famous and better known that Geetha Phogat.

Now hear to this actor's advice too ... they will become richer, making public poorer – an advertisement for a Company called GL+ - web results now in various strings yield no result as glplus perhaps is no longer there.

Repost of 2018 with some alterations now.
