Dhoni out at last ~ Watson back in pavilion - Chepauk Test leading to....

After this good knock, Dhoni’s stock has gone way up… among the Indian Captains, he is no. 3 only behind Sunil Gavaskar and Azharuddin, in terms of runs made and that is really great considering, the others played as pure batsmen.

How much have the World of advertising and money involved in that developed over the years…

There is news that off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was fined 10 percent of his match fee for flaunting logos ~ where ?   on his batting pads in breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the third day’s play in the first cricket Test against Australia at Chepauk.

Remember Ashwin is not even an allrounder, is a bowler who can bt a bit and yet there are so many who want him to endorse their products !!!!   Nothing strange, only strange news is that somebody being penalized for such acts… Ashwin was found to have breached Article 2.1.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel (the “Code”) which relates to “breach of the ICC’s Clothing and Equipment Regulations during an International Match”.

An belligerent Dhoni has already outlived all expectations but still there were some more.. today he started with a reverse sweep and hit a six too… but got out and Buvaneshkumar’s resistance also came to an end at last. India have a good lead of 192. Shane Watson opened instead of David Warner,  reportedly down with delhi belly.   ~ and the ball before lunch, Ashwin had him caught in the slips……  are Australia looking down at the barrel…

This morning Ravi Shastri was heard as stating that he would not be surprised if there is no play tomorrow….

With regards – S. Sampathkumar
