Presenting Our June 2012 issue of BLISS – voice of SYMA

Dear (s)

Our June 2012 issue of BLISS – the newsletter of SYMA is here.Bliss June 12 issue

It was a month of sweltering heat, scorching Sun, power outage and difficulty in the city of Chennai.  IPL extravaganza is over and commoners were subjected to cruelty in the form of steepest price hike ever in petrol prices.  There were mad crowds, angry reactions and more in petrol pumps as there were serpentine queues in front of petrol bunks.  Vishwanathan Anand brought great cheers with his win over Boris Gelfand in the rapid format, thereby retaining the World Chess Championship title.

Our present issue contains :

v      A detailed report on our tuition centre – SYMA Growth – and the performance of our + 2 students in the recently announced results
v      Greetings to the new team of Office bearers of SYMA
v      Proposed Master health camp for our Members and their families
v      A tamil article on the preparedness of a firm ahead of Olympics
v      This month’s Q is on the Chef de Mission to Olympics

As you would know, SYMA is engaged throughout the year in many projects which include – running of Medical Centre, running of Tuition centre ‘SYMA Growth’, Educational Aid Programme, Various camps, maintaining cleanliness and environ friendliness and more.  For all this we require funds and we have been patronized by many philanthropists and friends.

Generally, we collect funds in the months of June & July ahead of our Educational Aid Programme, though donations are welcome throughout the year.  A detailed appeal from SYMA finds a place on page 4 of our BLISS.

You have patronized us in a big way in the past, and we look forward to receiving your donations this year too.  Cheques are to be drawn in the name of ‘SRINIVAS YOUNGMENS ASSOCIATION’ – payable at Chennai.  In case any donor wishes to make a Bank transfer, we will provide details of our Bank A/c on request.   Contributions to SYMA are eligible for deduction under Sec 80G (5) (vi)of Income Tax Act, as applicable.

You have all along supported us in a big way and we look forward to your continued support.  Together we will ensure transformation towards a better Society.
