On 22^nd and 29^th of Jan  2012 – we conducted Childfest  - event sponsor being Gold Winner.  We have been conducting the competitions for School children providing them a platform to showcase their talents and improve their confidence. 

Summer Olympics 2012 is scheduled to be held in London in July this year – Indian Men’s Hockey team has qualified for the Olympics routing  France in the finals largely due to the flamboyance of Sandeep Singh.  We wish the Men’s team all success for winning a medal in Olympics.  Just as the Indian Cricket continue to struggle down under the Women’s Hockey team lost in the finals in ‘FIH – road to London’ tourney held at Delhi and is out of reckoning.   The sad killing of 2 fishermen by Italian ship continues to embroil politically.  Our Present issue contains :

Ø      Our thanks to Sri A.P. Venugopal who has donated Rs.1,00,000/- to our Corpus Fund

Ø      Our thanks to Grundfos for their donation of Rs.65000/-

Ø      Detailed report on Day 1 & day 2 of Goldwinner SYMA Childfest 2012

Our Q for the month :  At Brisbane ODI, R Ashwin ran out Lahiru Thirimanne, though Sehwag subsequently withdrew the appeal.  Do you know what is ‘mankading’ in Cricket ?
