How good are you …
have ever observed the innate skills of people !!
There are many dull moments and mundane works – today for our association SYMA, I went to a local Xerox shop (Oscar Xerox) in Big Street and was really amazed at the skillset !!
After taking 60 sets
of print-out, the man asked me whether they had to be stapled together – I said
yes, the first and 2nd page together and said, I will do it
myself. He offered to do it again – the manner and the speed with which it was
done really left me wondering, how long and how much of time, it would have
taken, if I had done the same. It would
have kept all first page together, second pages by the sided, take one-by-one,
keep together, staple and keep them as a bunch !!!
In English language – there is Talent, Ability and Skills !!
The Noun Talent is a natural skill or ability. "Talent" primarily refers to a natural, innate ability to do something well.
The Noun Ability is the mental or physical power or skill that makes it possible to do something. It encompasses both inherent talents one is born with and competencies acquired through training or practice.
The Noun Skill is the ability to do something well, especially because of training, practice, etc. Unlike innate talent, skills are typically acquired and improved through education, training, and practice. Developing special skills involves a combination of targeted learning, practical application, and consistent refinement to boost professional or personal performance.
Here is the man in
action – sure, it is a simply job, anyone can do – but this man did it with
appreciable skill. : https://youtu.be/c-Z7uhu2WaE
