meeting Oriental ex-colleague at Mylapore

 

Morning meet at Mylapore – Chithirai kulam – how well do your remember the Company (ies) that you worked and your ex-colleagues.

 

Mr Balakrishnan, is 87 now – healthy, walks around, meets people with a smile. He retired from Oriental Insurance, Regional office around 1998 and was an active Union worker.  Remember coming to Oriental those days in veshti. He lives in Chithirai kulam veethi near Sri  Adhi Kesava Perumal thirukkovil.  

PSU giant ‘Oriental Insurance’    was established in 1947  - Madras Regional office functions at 8 UIL Building, Esplanade, Chennai 600 108.  

I vividly remember that day in Jan 1985 when I joined OIC DO 3 at VDS House as also 31.3.2003 when I resigned & was relieved  from the Company.
