மந்தாரை இலை

 

பண்டை காலங்களில் உணவு உண்ண வாழை இலைகளையும் அடுத்ததாக மந்தாரை இலைகளையும் [தையல் இலை/ மலையாத்தி என்றும் சொல்வார்கள்] .. .. never imagined that they are still available in large numbers ! (taken few months back) .. .. and that மந்தாரை (Bauhinia variegata) has such beautiful flowers (have never seen a mantharai tree - flower photo from wikipedia)
