I was worried !! ! his parents were not - as they unmindful of the
risks, allowed him to play on the upper
deck of the boat

Hooghly is the westernmost distributary of Holy Ganga, running in Kolkatta, West Bengal, India. It is known in its upper
reaches as the Bhagirathi.
