the chocolate coloured Pigeon !!

How fond are you of sweets & chocolates ? Chocolates are sweet and the very word  enamours children and elders.   -  It certainly is not a cherished  feeling, when not able to devour  !  ~ one feels the whole World is merrily eating; there are eateries everywhere around .. .. but, but, one could not eat – because of health conditions – restricted intake, and total abstinence of sweets .. .. most weak-hearted would succumb easily and would steal some sweets and eat them clandestinely ! – that feeling ! .. .. even for those who were not very fond of sweets in their childhood and for some good branded chocolates were simply not within reach ! 

Chocolates are sweet and the very word  enamours children and elders.  It  is of Spanish origin and  comprises a number of raw and processed foods produced from the seed of tropical Theobroma cacao tree. Its beans after fermentation are dried, cleaned, roasted, shell removed to produce cacao nibs, which are then groun to cocoa mass – pure chocolate in rough form.  Chocolate candy, chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, anything with chocolate is delicious.   

Not a post on chocolates and its taste but one on colours, more of my frequent visitor .. the  colour chocolate is a shade of brown that resembles chocolate.  This colour is actually the colour of the exterior of an unripe cocoa bean pod and is not the colour of chocolate, a highly processed product, at all. The historical and traditional name for this colour is cocoa brown. The first recorded use of cocoa brown as a colour name in English was in 1925.   Chocolate is a dark shade of brown.  

 

There are many ways to make chocolate brown. The simplest is to mix blue, yellow and red paint together before using a small amount of black or white paint to adjust the depth of the shade as required. Red, black and yellow combined also make brown, as does black and orange. In the RGB colour model used to project colour onto television and computer screens, brown is made by combining red and green. 

Dogs with a dark brown coat are considered to be chocolate coloured. The most common breed is the Labrador Retriever.  ‘Rihanna"  the super star ensured all eyes on her at —  the 2023 Academy Awards. She arrived at the exact right time that worked for her, wearing a stunning chocolate brown Alaïa number featuring a halter crop top and skirt with an elongated train over a sheer turtleneck layer, putting baby number two on elegant display.
