Vaidhya primarily plays the Saraswati Veena, and is famous for his innovative
use of an electric and amplified veena, blending traditional Carnatic music. He has been
honored with the prestigious title of "Isai Chemmal", presented to him
by Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, the former Vice President of India.
