ತಂಬೂರಿ ಮೀಟಿದವ ಭವಾಬ್ಧಿ ದಾಟಿದವ | ಪ |

ತಾಳವ ತಟ್ಟಿದವ ಸುರರೊಳು ಸೇರಿದವ|ಅ.ಪ |

தம்பூரி மீட்டிதவா பவாப்தி தாடிதவா

தாலவ தட்டிதவா சுரரோலு செரிதவா !!

விட்டலன நோடிதவா வைகுண்டகே ஓடிதவா

விட்டலன நோடிதவா வைகுண்டகே ஓடிதவா

 

Purandaradasa keerthana (Tamil transliteration may have some mistakes!)

The dasas are people who have dedicated themselves to do service to God .. .. they live a simple life singing paeans on Lord. With Tambura in his hand, this young bagavathar  was singing nicely, earing a thulsi mala and happy in the assembly of fellow bagavathas.  Usually they wear  anklets too which means they also dance to the bajans / keerthanas on Sriman Narayana
