In England's Lake District, Peter Rabbit, his cousin Benjamin Bunny, and triplet sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail, spend most of their days picking on old Mr. McGregor and stealing vegetables from his garden. They are friends with a kindhearted local woman named Bea who spends her time painting pictures of the rabbits as well as the surrounding nature. Bea took on a motherly role with the rabbits after their mother's death. Their father had been killed and eaten in a pie by McGregor when they were still young. One day, Peter is forced to leave his jacket in McGregor's garden and goes back to retrieve it. However, it was a trap set by McGregor who catches him, but suddenly dies of a heart attack due to decades of unhealthy eating habits. Enthralled, Peter invites all the local animals and takes over McGregor's manor……………..

Much of that film's early promotion had already begun, with star Daniel Craig hosting 'Saturday Night Live' and the release of Billie Eilish's theme song. Cinemas have been closed in China for several weeks, while Italy shut all its venues  amid social distancing measures to help prevent the virus spreading.

Since coronavirus first emerged in late December 2019, more than 115,124 cases have been recorded in 105 countries and territories, killing 4,067 people.   The previous Peter Rabbit film released in February 2018 was one of that year's top animated releases, grossing £269million worldwide.  A trailer for the new movie directed by Will Gluck showed Corden's lovable rogue hops away from his beloved garden to have daredevil adventures in the big city.

Rajnikant starrer - Raja Chinna Roja was the first Indian film to feature live action with animation. The animation was done by Ram Mohan, who "ended up drawing 84,000 sketches for this song as every frame had to be drawn individually".

Who Framed Roger Rabbit, released in 1988 was a  American live-action/animated film directed by Robert Zemeckis.  Loosely based on Gary K. Wolf's 1981 novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, it stars Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, Charles Fleischer, Stubby Kaye, and Joanna Cassidy. Set in a 1947 version of Hollywood where cartoon characters and people co-exist, it follows Eddie Valiant, a private detective who must exonerate "Toon" (i.e. cartoon character) Roger Rabbit, who is accused of murdering a wealthy businessman.
