women charged with felony criminal mischief & animal cruelty for killing fish !!

A fish is any member of a paraphyletic group of organisms that consist of all gill-bearing aquatic craniate animals that lack limbs with digits.

Fishes are attractive and pleasing to look at ! – there are many species of aquarium fish that are kept in smaller tanks.  Gold fish in a small round bowl looks pretty  pleasing to eyes!  Gold fish exist in a far wider range of colours than the name implies.  Goldfish is  considered  to be one of the earliest domesticated fish.  Goldfish breeds vary greatly in size, body shape, fin configuration and colour.  There are some who like keeping many varieties of fish together – community aquaria.  Some say that they grow according to its container and would grow bigger in bigger water bodies. 

Here is something on what killing of ‘goldfish’ landed a woman in to :   Orlando Sentinel reports that – after  getting into a fight with her boyfriend, a woman  allegedly used bleach to kill his goldfish. 

The 32-year-old was charged with felony criminal mischief and animal cruelty  after a deputy attended the house, according to a report from the Orange County Sheriff's Office. [now you understand the relevance of 1^st para of the post]

The alleged victim’s son told police that Ms Garcia has poured bleach into his father’s fish tank, killing five goldfish. She is also alleged to have caused about $1500 worth of damage by destroying electronic devices and a flat-screen TV. The victim’s son told police that his father and the other woman  had got into an argument earlier in the day when she was told to leave the house. He said his father then went to work, while he stayed at home and overheard the woman  telling someone on the phone that she was going to destroy her boyfriend’s property.

He told police that he then went to a friend’s house and noted that when he returned home there was a strong smell of bleach. Police then tracked down Ms Garcia, who was visibly intoxicated and covered in bleach, the report said. While she claimed to live at the house she had trashed, she would not answer any follow up questions. Ms Garcia was taken into custody and brought to Orange County Jail where she was later charged.
