A
picture is worth a thousand words is a oft repeated cliché highlighting the
power of visuals and dates back to more than a century !
Even
in modern World where you daily see hundreds (thousands) of photo everyday –
only few catch your eyes !! - and those
come from good photographers.
Great photography is all about intent and visualisation. Those Masters thrust their face into their Camera, strain their eyes to track and see what is about to be photographed.
The Viewfinder is the eyepiece on a camera that you hold close to your eye, to allow you to see what's being photographed. There are two types of viewfinders – optical, and digital. An optical viewfinder in a DSLR works by light passing through the lens and bouncing off the reflex mirror and prism in your camera. The Viewfinder shows the area of the scene that is about to be captured.
It
does not end there – with a half click, one sees the image sharper, meantime
adjusting vignetting ie., peripheral illumination or light fall-off .. ofcourse, there is more !!!
Here is our friend Shyam Balakrishnan about to deliver us a great pic !!
