Enjoying laziness !! ~ சும்மா இருக்கறது

People feel happy in being relaxed and lazy ! ~ Sundays mostly are days to idle !! – so how lazy are you ?  In Freudian psychoanalysis, the pleasure principle is the instinctive seeking of pleasure and avoiding of pain or any work (being lazy !!) 

The Adjective ‘Lazy’ would mean :  not wanting to work. வேலை செய்ய மனமில்லாத. செயலூக்கம் அற்ற 2. moving slowly or without much energy. மெல்ல இயங்குகிற. ஊக்கம் குன்றிய. எழுச்சியற்ற. சோர்ந்த. மந்தமான.  

Laziness (also known as indolence or sloth) is emotional disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to act or to exert oneself. It is often used as a pejorative; terms for a person seen to be lazy include "couch potato", "slacker", and "bludger".   

Most likely have heard of this Pangram – (all Typists for sure will) : "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" – this  sentence  contains all of the letters of the alphabet.  

Read somewhere that some breed of dogs are too lazy and Bulldog is one among them.  These family-friendly cuties fit the snoozing stereotype, alright. Bulldogs love nothing more than a good nap, but don't let their sleepiness rub off on you.  Apartment dwellers may prefer French Bulldogs for a reason. They rarely bark, hardly shed and enjoy a brisk walk around the block for exercise. What more could you want?  

Understand that there is a restaurant chain in California by name – ‘Lazy Dog!’. Why exactly would restaurateur Chris Simms call his casual dining restaurant, specializing in what he calls “elevated comfort food,” Lazy Dog? Asked why, Simms replied that he wanted to create an environment where guests “could leave everything at the door, come on in, relax, and connect with family and friends. I want people to come and feel like a lazy dog and let us take care of everything.”

 

Just as Comedian Vadivelu quipped – it is difficult to remain idle (சும்மா இருக்கறது ரொம்ப ரொம்ப கஷ்டம்) –  at Triplicane before vahana mandapam for Gajendra moksham Garuda sevai, people were waiting – and on the kolam depicting Crocodile tearing the foot of Gajendra, the elephant, this dog just slept for a short while not caring of the people around.
