As you walk
on city roads (becoming increasingly difficult these days!) – you see conflicts
– the first word uttered in such mental wars is : - ‘do you know who I am ?” –
explicitly advertising their bloated Ego.
Many a times, the problem could be avoided by just side-stepping and
moving away. If you can say sorry with a
smile and move away – your day will be pleasant !!
This calf is trying its power to move on – instead it could take a step away and continue its journey !!
Twins Sekhar and Anand, along with their mother Mangalam, witness their father Ramnathan being murdered by Nagappan, an escaped convict who Ramnadhan had testified against. This prompts the family to leave to Madras to pursue a new life. But when Sekhar gets down from the train to fetch some water, it leaves without him. Nagappan arrives and kidnaps Sekhar, who is raised by him as a criminal. Sekhar remains unaware that the same man killed his father. - a formula MGR movie !! Sure you have heard this song !!
நான் யார் நான் யார் நீ யார்
~ நாலும் தெரிந்தவர் யார் யார் ??
Ever heard someone say ‘He has a big ego’..? The ego is that part of you that defines itself as a personality, that considers itself a separate entity from the rest of the world. To make it really simple, your ego is the part of you that you feel is talking when you say “I.” We all have egos. Literally meaning “I” in Latin, your ego is the internal sense of self-esteem and pride that helps you feel good about who you are. Its presence and strength are determined by a combination of internal and external factors.
Typically this is
said about someone who is annoyingly loud-mouthed, obnoxious, self-absorbed,
immature or belligerent. Fortunately, I have not had people have tell me this
about myself, but this ‘big ego’ insult has always fascinated me. Generally we
do not hear people describe someone as having a ‘small ego’, or talk about
someone having a ‘good ego’. "Big
ego" refers to someone who has an exaggerated and inflated sense of
self-importance, believing they are better than others
and needing constant validation. This often manifests as being
self-absorbed, arrogant, and unwilling to admit fault or accept criticism.
While this behavior can stem from genuine beliefs of superiority, it may also
be a defense mechanism to mask underlying feelings of insecurity or shame.

Shed your egos ! – No
point in unnecessary conflicts and trying to prove a point elsewhere. Move on, keep thyself composed and we design
our happy living.
