Identify this flower !!

In a Quiz recently conducted for SYMA, this was the Q : Women are so fond of flowers....... now  simply identify the flower…….
 One of the boys was able to identify it so easily…..

 Celosias are one of the most eye-catching annuals to grow in the garden. The three types of celosia are easily distinguishable from each other. They are plumes, crests, or spikes;

Celosia cristata [Celosia in Greek means burning] is a member of the genus Celosia, and is commonly known as cockscomb, [Kozhik kondai in Tamil] since the flower looks like the head on a rooster (cock). It is called Chi Kuan in China.

The plants are hardy and resistant to most diseases, and grow equally well indoors or out, though the perfect place is one with no shade and a well drained soil, as the plant is susceptible to fungal diseases. The plant is used frequently as an ornamental plant indoors. Their leaves and flowers can be used as vegetables. They are often grown in India, Western Africa, and South America

In Tamil Nadu, these are often interwoven in between other flowers in big garlands; these flowers do not have any aroma though.

Here is the flower being grown on the fields..

  1. What we're gonna do here is lean forward, okay? If you want, here too,
    you can rest your head in your hand, and then we go crazy hard for ten.
    Oh yeah, I love you, work out hard, and I'll hop over
    here. Is to do a pawgtube youtube switch, make sure that whatever you place your feet
    wider than shoulder width. So, you're gonna go ahead and walk right back up.
    You can tell this racy honey gets a charge out of displaying that bulging
    rear end.
